Kelley Cannon
The girl who was always “the planner” in her social circles didn’t have a wedding planner or coordinator on her wedding day - gasp! That’s when Kelley realized that a planner is not a luxury, it’s a necessity. In 2009, Kelley Cannon Events was born. Now, with over 15 years of experience in wedding and event planning, Kelley has established herself as a leading figure in the Washington, DC area, renowned for her creativity, kindness, and unwavering dedication to her clients.

Lois Gaul
We originally met Lois, our in-house pocketful of sunshine, in 2018 as one of our clients! We very happily helped execute her wedding and shortly thereafter, she joined our team. Lois has a background in interior design, project management and logistics which translates perfectly to event design and planning. She has a great eye for detail, a warm demeanor, and has the tidiest and well-organized notebooks you have ever seen!

Kelsey Thompson
Our coordination Queen, Kelsey has been a part of team KCE since 2015. She brings with her a long tenure in the DC events industry, ranging from some of the area’s top caterers to planning events at the Zoo. Understanding the ins and outs of event logistics, coupled with her eagerness to provide a seamless guest experience make Kelsey so good at what she does. When she’s not working on events, you will find her being super mom, active on her local pool board, PTO, and doing all the sport mom transporting!
