MEET OUR TEAM

Background: I started off with a career in Leasing and Shopping Center Management. In 2009, I took my management experience and a love for all things social and started Kelley Cannon Events.

Hometown: Winter Springs, FL. Graduate of the University of Central Florida (Go Knights!) followed by a few fabulous years in Charleston, SC. I now reside in Annandale, VA with my husband, Jon, daughter, Isla, and son, Brooks.

Loves: My amazingly supportive friends and family, all things Southern- especially the food (I make some mean shrimp and grits), peonies, being on the water, football season, and everything from the 80's. 

Favorite part about planning: Building relationships with my clients throughout the process and getting to see their joy on the day-of. No matter the type, size, or budget of the event, I feel incredibly rewarded seeing the final product come together and having a happy client! That is why I do what I do.


Kelley Cannon   

Principal & Lead Planner

Background: I started my career in the legal research and sales industry. In 2012, Kelley convinced me to leave my day job and join her team. I never looked back. 

Hometown: Pembroke Pines, FL. I graduated from the University of Central Florida, then attended law school in Miami. I moved to the DC metro area in 2008 and now reside in Falls Church with my family.

Loves: My family, friends who are like family, slow weekends, organized spaces, Lake Barcroft, supporting local business and weddings!

Favorite Part of Event Planning: I love the wedding day excitement! I love taking on my clients' priorities as my own. Marriage is very special to me. I feel, in some small way, I'm helping my clients celebrate the start a great adventure. It's very rewarding. 


Associate Planner

Kristen Puzzo   

Background: I’ve been in the events industry for 12 years, gaining expertise from work in hotels, associations and venues across the city. I spent much of that time with Kimpton Hotels and Restaurants, mostly coordinating weddings. In addition to planning local weddings, I’ve been very fortunate recently to travel around the world several times a year executing corporate and social events. 

Hometown: Cumberland, ME. After graduating from Hobart and William Smith Colleges in upstate New York, I lived in Boston, where I met my husband! We moved to the DC area 8 years ago. After we got married, we left the city and bought a house in Fort Washington, MD. We are renovating, decorating and loving the ‘burbs.

Loves: Midcentury décor mixed with modern accents, Provence rosé during a brilliant sunset, overflowing cheese & charcuterie boards, organic floral arrangements filled with fluffy flowers, off-season walks on the beaches in Maine, experiencing new cities & countries like a local

Favorite Part about Event Planning: Appreciating the little moments between the big ones on the wedding day - quietly calming the bride before she walks down the aisle, the emotional groom as he sees his bride for the first time, the mother of the bride lovingly watching the father-daughter dance, the touching maid of honor speech, the bride and groom’s exhausted, jubilant final twirl on the dance floor. After all the hard work with the couple during their planning process, I feel like part of the family, so I treasure these moments too.


Associate Planner

Kristin Corrigan   

Background: I am a graduate of West Virginia University, where I majored in Interior Design and spent my junior year abroad in Prague, Czech Republic. After college I worked as the Promotions Manager for a major Washington, DC interior design publication. I managed contracts for over 100 client accounts and performed on-site management, logistics, and communications for large industry events and regional trade shows. 

Hometown: I grew up in Frederick, Maryland where I was a candy striper at Frederick Memorial Hospital and spent summers playing tennis. I currently live in Washington, DC with my husband and our adorable puppy, Muffy!

Loves: I enjoy going to SoulCycle, anything design-related, creative projects, exploring the local restaurant scene, all things social media, pumpkin spiced lattes, gold glitter, dark chocolate, writing letters, traveling and spending time with my family and friends.
